Dr. Yeisell Duconge is a board-certified psychiatrist and neurologist with extensive experience in clinical research, patient care, and academic leadership. She currently serves as a Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator at The Medici Medical Research, LLC, where she has contributed to numerous high-impact clinical trials in psychiatry and neurology. Her research involvement includes studies on bipolar disorder (Lumateperone), major depressive disorder (Aticaprant – VENTURA-7, REL-1017 – RELIANCE-II), schizophrenia (TV-44749), advanced Parkinson’s disease (UCB0022), treatment-resistant depression (Liafensine), temporomandibular disorders and chronic rhinosinusitis (Rimegepant), Alzheimer’s prevention (CNP520), generalized anxiety disorder (Vilazodone), and viral fevers (VIUSID). She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana, Cuba, and completed her psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Duconge is certified in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and is trained in a comprehensive array of psychiatric and neurological rating scales, including PANSS, PSP, SCID-5-CT, MADRS, HAM-A, C-SSRS, MoCA, MDS-UPDRS, and many more. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Florida Psychiatric Association, and the American Medical Association, and is deeply committed to advancing evidence-based care in psychiatry and neurology.
